Class Registration and Attendance
Registration
Class registration is confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Spaces are limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Payment Terms
Payment is due at the time of registration. We accept bank transfers and credit card payments through secure payment processors. Prices are listed in euros and include applicable taxes.
Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellations made more than 14 days before a class begins are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made 7-14 days before the class start date receive a 50% refund or full credit toward future classes. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the class begins are non-refundable but may be transferred to another participant.
Class Changes
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to insufficient enrollment, instructor illness, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another class.
Studio Access and Conduct
Students and studio members must:
- Follow all safety guidelines and instructor directions
- Treat equipment, materials, and facilities with care
- Clean work areas after each session
- Respect other students and maintain a collaborative environment
- Arrive on time for scheduled classes
We reserve the right to deny studio access to anyone who violates these conduct standards or behaves in a manner that disrupts classes or compromises safety.
Materials and Equipment
Class fees include basic materials as specified in course descriptions. Studio members receive a monthly clay allocation as outlined in membership terms. Additional materials may be purchased separately.
While we maintain equipment in good working condition, ceramic work involves inherent unpredictability. We are not responsible for pieces damaged during firing, drying, or due to material characteristics beyond our control.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, logos, and design elements, is the property of Atelier de Céramique or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without explicit written permission.
Techniques taught in classes are part of traditional ceramic practices and general knowledge. However, specific curriculum materials, handouts, and proprietary glaze recipes remain our intellectual property.
Liability and Disclaimers
Assumption of Risk
Ceramic work involves inherent risks including use of sharp tools, heavy equipment, high-temperature kilns, and chemical materials. By participating in classes or using studio facilities, you acknowledge these risks and assume responsibility for your safety.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Atelier de Céramique and its instructors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services, including but not limited to damage to personal property, injury, or loss of work.
Our total liability for any claim arising from services provided shall not exceed the amount you paid for those specific services.
No Warranty
Our services and website are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee specific outcomes or skill development timelines.
Photography and Publicity
We occasionally photograph classes and studio work for promotional purposes. By participating in our programs, you consent to being photographed and to our use of such images in marketing materials, social media, and our website.
If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform us in writing, and we will respect your preference.
